God desires that ALL people would accept God's love and salvation through Jesus Christ. God has compelled me to share information with the world relating to the biblical seven year tribulation in order to share Truth in a deceived world.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made. In Him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it. (John 1:1-5)
Jesus answered, "I AM the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6)

Georgetown University: 2006 International Prayer for Peace
The march takes place at the start of every Jewish month, meeting in the Western Wall plaza toward nightfall and continuing around the outside walls of the Temple Mount. The march is accompanied by prayer and singing and is known as one of the most festive and moving Jerusalem traditions.
Walking alongside the eastern wall of the Temple Mount, passing the Gates of Mercy, now sealed, where tradition has it the Messiah will enter through. Solemn singing and the recitation of Psalms break forth into joyous dancing at the Gates of Mercy.
The monthly encirclement of the Temple Mount is well attended, with up to five thousand participants at times. Women are often the majority at the event.

Very few Americans have done more to promote these ethical values as the basis of civilization than Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the leader of the worldwide Lubavitch movement. The word ``Lubavitch'' comes from the name of a Russian city and means city of love. That is very appropriate because, of all the ethical values which inform our civilization, none is more important than love -- love of wisdom, love of our fellowman, and love of our Creator.
These are the values which Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson exemplifies. And they are the values, with their roots in the Seven Noahide Laws, which have guided the Lubavitch movement throughout its history. They are the essence of education at its best, and we should be certain that we pass on this precious heritage to all young Americans.
In recognition of Rabbi Schneerson's contributions and in honor of his 83rd birthday, which falls this year on April 2, the Congress, by House Joint Resolution 186, has designated April 2, 1985, as ``Education Day, U.S.A.'' and authorized and requested the President to issue an appropriate proclamation in observance of this event.
Now, Therefore, I, Ronald Reagan, President of the United States of America, do hereby proclaim Tuesday, April 2, 1985, as Education Day, U.S.A., and I call upon the people of the United States, and in particular our teachers and other educational leaders, to observe that day with appropriate ceremonies and activities.
In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand this fourth day of April, in the year of our Lord nineteen hundred and eighty-five, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and ninth.
[Filed with the Office of the Federal Register, 11:48 a.m., April 5, 1985]

In 1992, Acting Secretary of State Lawrence Eagleburger denied the Russian State Library, formerly the Lenin State Library, assistance under the FREEDOM Support Act. He made this decision as a policy matter, based on the Russian State Library’s continued possession of the Schneerson Library. In so doing, Acting Secretary Eagleburger noted that the U.S. Government was committed to seeing the Schneerson Library transferred to its rightful owners and had raised the issue with President Gorbachev and President Yeltsin.
A second subject of the discussions was a library-to-library loan, which was arranged in 1994 between the Russian State Library and the Library of Congress. The loaned books are still in the United States. The terms of the loan have been the cause of continuing disagreement.
This Administration remains committed to working with the Russian Government and the Lubavitch community to resolve this issue. Each of our ambassadors to Russia over the past 15 years has been personally involved in this effort. Our Embassy in Moscow monitors events concerning the Schneerson Collection closely and maintains contact with all of the parties involved.
I also want to acknowledge the helpful and important interventions by Members of Congress on this issue, the most recent being the letter to President Putin signed by all 100 members of the Senate. Senior White House officials conveyed the letter to President Putin’s delegation at the February 24 Bratislava Summit.

Secular Zionists may think they do it for political, national or socialist reasons, but in fact - the actual reason for them coming to resettle in Israel is a religious Jewish spark ("Nitzotz") in their soul, planted by God. Without their knowledge, they are contributing to the divine scheme and actually committing a great Mitzvah.
The role of religious Zionists is to help them to establish a Jewish state and turn the religious spark in them into a great light. They should show them that the real source of Zionism and the longed-for Zion is Judaism and teach them Torah with love and kindness. In the end, they will understand that the laws of Torah are the key to true harmony and a socialist state (not in the Marxist meaning) that will be a light for the goyim and bring salvation to the world.
In 1956, Mizarchi, Hapoel Hamizrachi and other religious Zionists formed the National Religious Party or Mafdal to advance the rights of religious Jews in Israel.
Religious Zionists are often called "Kippot Sruggot" because of the knitted skull caps that they wear. In Israel, different factions of Orthodox Judaism can be distinguished by the headgear of its members (such as Haredi Ashkenazi, Haredi Mizrahi, Hassidic etc).
Most religious Zionists are right wing supporters and vote for the Mafdal (National Religious Party), Likud (Conservative party) and National Union (nationalist party). However, there is a small minority of left wing religious Zionists. They are headed by Rabbi Michael Malkior and represented by the Meimad party (ran together with the Israeli Labor party).

Beginning his speech with "Bismillahirrahmanirrahim", a traditional way for Arab leaders to begin a speech, Erdogan touched on the crisis that emerged between the West and the Muslim world over the publication of the Prophet Muhammed cartoons in various European newspapers. He stressed that freedom of expression should have some limits. "The Muslim approach to other religions is as follows: Both Jesus Christ and Muhammed are our prophets," said the Turkish prime minister, stressing that Muslims expect the same approach from followers of other religions.
Underlining that the world shouldn't be deceived by those who seek a "clash of civilizations," Erdogan also called for cooperation in fighting terrorism.
Concerning sharing of intelligence, Erdogan urged the international community to be more open on the issue.
"There's been a cold war between values," said the prime minister, warning that the consequences might be devastating.

In the US a major demonstration will take place on 30 April 2006 under the slogan, “Rally to Stop Genocide”. It will gather between 2-4pm on the National Mall, between Third and Fourth streets in front of the US Capitol Metro Station Federal Centre SW.
Speakers will include Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient Paul Rusesabagina, who risked his life to save more than 1,000 people at the hotel he managed during the genocide in Rwanda. Christian, Jewish and Muslim leaders will also address the rally.

The conference, set up by the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, which is directly linked to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was definitely a political gesture.
In many aspects, it was an extraordinary sight. Right at the heart of the Islamic Republic, one could see Rabbi Moshe Friedman, the hyperactive chief rabbi of the Orthodox anti-Zionist community in Vienna, lashing out at Zionist control of the world economy and media. New Delhi-based Swami Agnivesh, a proponent of "applied spirituality", in full sartorial orange splendor, was denouncing that "conventional weapons kill more people than the so-called weapons of mass destruction". And Dr Bawa Jain, the New York-based secretary general of the World Council of Religious Leaders, was dreaming of politicians really having to pay attention to religious feelings.

Dialogue is being maintained chiefly through the Interreligious Council set up in 1997, which brings together representatives of the four largest religions in Russia, i.e. the Orthodoxy, Islam, Judaism, and Buddhism. The dialogue is aimed primarily at finding ways to resolve the most urgent problems that society faces.
I can reaffirm that our relations are developing successfully, despite attempts by some foreign centers and homebred extremists to test religious peace in Russia.I am sure that the wisdom of religious leaders, primarily Islamic ones, will make these attempts fruitless.
Exchange of opinions and cooperation in social affairs between various religions does not exclude doctrinal debates, which are aimed at helping clarify the sides' positions regarding problems that call for a thorough philosophical analysis. For instance, Tehran hosted the 5th meeting of the Russian-Iranian commission on dialogue between Islam and the Orthodoxy in late February and early March. The meeting dealt with "Eschatology and Its Influence on Modern Life." The discussion exposed both similarities and differences on these issues between the Christian and Islamic doctrines. The participants in the meeting also strongly denounced the increasing instances of insults of believers' feelings in various countries.
In the end, the best way to fight extremism is through education. A true believer and educated person will never become an extremist, fanatic, or aggressive nationalist. This is why our Church is insisting that schoolchildren be taught about various peoples and religions and, what is most important, about their own faith and culture, be it Orthodox, Islamic, Judaic, Buddhist, or some other. Without the right education, we will never get rid of our social vices. It is through school, culture, and the media that people should be taught patriotism, morals in private life, family and society, and a careful and respectful attitude to those surrounding them.

For all practical purposes, the answer is clear: China’s influence is destabilizing the international nonproliferation system. It has protected North Korea for decades, and now Chinese diplomacy protects Iran from the punitive sanctions that have been essential to the enforcement of the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty against other countries, such as South Africa and Libya.
The Bush Administration should cease pretending that China’s involvement in Iranian nuclear weapons negotiations has been constructive and publicly question China’s motives. It should confront Beijing’s subtle but substantial support for Iranian nuclear weapons, advanced conventional weapons, and other security programs. Public statements of disappointment over China’s support for North Korea and Iran’s nuclear ambitions would help clear the air and deny China diplomatic leverage. But as long as China can appear to be a “constructive” participant in resolving the crisis, China can claim to be an “honest broker” between the U.S. and nuclear pariahs.
This message must be loud and clear and public—at the United Nations, at the IAEA, during the semi-annual “strategic senior dialogues” between Deputy Secretary Zoellick and his Chinese counterpart Dai Bingguo, and above all, at the summit between President George Bush and Chinese president Hu Jintao this week.

One month after his 75th birthday, Mr Gorbachev is back on the road preaching his new green gospel to audiences in America, Asia and Europe, to raise money for Green Cross International, the non-governmental environmental pressure group he has chaired since 1993.
His first target is to persuade the business community that financing environmental campaigns for clean water and basic sanitation, plus renewable energy supplies, is in their commercial interest, as well as being socially responsible. His second is to galvanise civil society to support the campaign, and persuade national parliaments to press their governments into greater support for sustainable energy.
Mr Gorbachev is writing to the parliaments of all the Group of Eight nations meeting in St Petersburg in June, where energy security has been put top of the agenda by President Vladimir Putin. He will urge the parliamentarians to lobby for more attention to be paid to renewable energy, rather than just securing supplies of oil and gas, plus a boost for nuclear power.

Over 2,000 years ago, the Jews were afraid to live in Jerusalem, yet they made it obligatory for one out of every ten men to work towards building the Holy Temple, and they started the sacrifice services amidst the ruins of the First Temple. And where are we? Should we not be ashamed?"

“You guys did a fantastic job,” said William Kuo, director of the COSMIC office at the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR) in Boulder, Colorado, to launch controllers just after the sixth COSMIC satellite was deployed in orbit.
UCAR designed the satellite system used for COSMIC’s planned two-year mission, but about $80 million of the mission’s cost was covered by Taiwan’s National Science Council and National Space Organization.
The U.S. National Science Foundation and its partners – which included NASA, the U.S. Air Force Space Test Program, the Office of Naval Research and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration – covered the rest.
Each of the six COSMIC satellites – known together as FORMOSAT 3 in Taiwan – is just a few inches wide and weighs about 137 pounds (62 kilograms). Originally developed by Orbital Sciences for the ORBCOMM data communications network, the probes were modified for the COSMIC mission and are expected to reach their final circular orbits – between 435 and 500 miles (700 and 800 kilometers) above Earth – in about 13 months.

The altered signals are to be turned into valuable views of humidity and temperature throughout the lower atmosphere. Information about the electrical structure of the upper atmosphere, Earth’s gravitational field, and other data will also be extracted. Researchers and forecasters around the world will have access to the data via the Internet.
Temperature and water vapor profiles derived from the GPS data should prove helpful to meteorologists that observe, research, and forecast hurricanes, typhoons, and other storm patterns over the oceans, as well as improve many areas of weather prediction. The stability, consistency, and accuracy of the measurements should be a boon to scientists quantifying long-term climate change trends, according to COSMIC experts at UCAR.
Additionally, COSMIC measurements of electron density in the ionosphere are expected to enhance analysis and forecasting of space weather, including geomagnetic storms that can disrupt sensitive satellite and communications systems and even impact power grids on the ground.
The COSMIC system is a gap-filler of sorts. It will yield data over vast stretches of the oceans where there are no weather balloon observations. And the data’s high vertical resolution will complement the high horizontal resolution measurements of several now-on-duty weather satellites.
Moreover, COSMIC will produce approximately 2,500 occultation soundings, which would provide nearly uniform coverage around the globe, Kuo added. "This is particularly important for weather prediction and climate monitoring over the oceans and remote areas."
Kuo noted: "We can get high quality sounding to within 1,640 feet (500 meters) of the surface…even over the tropics. This will provide valuable information on atmospheric water vapor, which is important for hurricane and severe weather prediction."
"I am very excited about the project. The planning for this started in the fall of 1997. Nine years have passed since then. I firmly believe that COSMIC will revolutionize atmospheric remote sensing for weather prediction, climate monitoring, and space weather forecasting. GPS radio occultation technique is very accurate, of high vertical resolution, and is also very cost-effective," Kuo said. "It is a once in a lifetime experience," Kuo concluded.

• The U.S. will not be the first to launch a strike against Iran as long as Israel is involved. And since Israel is at the front, it will be, if forced, the first to launch a strike because Iran has pledged to wipe Israel off the map. Do you really think Israel will stand by and do nothing after Iran’s threat?
This is very interesting and serious food for thought, especially in light of your sarcastic editorial. Let’s take a look at the real world and ask, are Israel and the U.S. supposed to do nothing? Let’s hope Iran wakes up before it has the ability to make Israel or an American city glow in the dark. Israel and the U.S. can’t stand by and wait for that. That’s the reality of it."

Events :: The Kabbalah Crash Course: Secrets to the Ultimate You
This summer, in Jerusalem, a new pathbreaking seminar teaches Kabbalah from traditional, academic, and experiential perspectives. Students will learn with leading scholars, meet with local mystics and be inspired by spiritual teachers (July 3-22, 2006).
Jerusalem Seminar Presents Ancient Kabbalah in Bold, New Light
In the last two decades of the twentieth century, Torah and Kabbalah have come to play a key role in the New Age. On the one hand, Kabbalistic groups, most prominent among them followers of Rabbi Yehuda Ashlag (1885-1954), the author of the "Sulam" commentary on the Zohar, have absorbed values and practices from general cultures of mysticism; on the other hand, these schools have spread Kabbalistic teachings to an unprecedented degree, ultimately creating an international Kabbalistic movement, the Kabbalah Centre International, that has devotees far beyond the confines of Jewish world, the most famous example being, of course, Madonna.
Even the Kabbalah of Abraham Abulafia, the most focused on mystical experience, is interested in experience not for its own sake but for the purpose of receiving prophecy. Those who engage in New Age spirituality for the purpose of "getting high" are, according to such figures, missing the point.
In addition, mystics of many religious traditions have rejected the use of mystical practices for the sake of personal material gain. In the Jewish world, Kabbalists traditionally emphasized practices intended for serving the needs of the divine realm, and not simple human needs such as personal advancement. According to Rabbi Meir ben Ezekiel Ibn Gabbai, amongst the great Kabbalists of the 16th century, a person mixing intentions of personal gain with mystical practice is akin to one who "brings uncleanness into the Temple and profanes the Holy of Holies." (Avodat HaKodesh 2, 6) Even those Kabbalists such as Rabbi Hayyim Vital – the major disciple of the "Ari" (Rabbi Yitzhak Luria) – who were more tolerant of those seeking personal gain emphasized that the Kabbalist should receive "his portion only at the end" (Shaarei Kedusha 3, 8). Traditional mainstream Kabbalistic traditions hold that one of the main goals of Kabbalah is human responsibility for serving the divine realm through mystical practice. Kabbalists affiliated with these traditional streams note time and time again that the Kabbalistic path is securely aligned with divine service though fulfillment of commandments and perfection of personal conduct. Rabbi Hayyim Vital, for example, lists complete obligation for the commandments and intensive examination of personal conduct as preconditions for any valid experience of prophecy via mystical practice (Shaarei Kedusha 3, 3). Kabbalistic literature teaches students a variety of internal, personal limits for controlling the study and use of esoteric knowledge in addition to well-known external restrictions such as age, Torah knowledge, and family status. And yet as is well known, the Kabbalah Centre and others regularly promise all variety of personal and financial gain to adherents, also stating that the benefits of Kabbalah are available to all.
It is easy to identify the deep differences in traditional and contemporary approaches to personal power by comparing a text such Nefesh Hahayyim by Rabbi Hayyim of Volozhin – a major student of the Gaon of Vilna in the 19th century – which is essentially a song of praise for the sacrifice of the individual dissolving personal desires for the good of the power of the Torah – to contemporary Kabbalistic writings that describe the personal power and personal gain one can obtain by studying Kabbalah. Note, for example, the title of a "pop Kabbalah" book by Yehudah Berg, a follower of the school of Rabbi Ashlag and director of the Kabbalah Centre: The Red String Book: The Power of Protection (Technology for the Soul). Emphasis on "personal power" is a part of the fusion of these schools of contemporary Kabbalah with the New Age, a blurring of the core Jewish elements of Kabbalah.

Book Subtitle: From the Language of Eden to Our Babble After Babel
Our current academics and reference books consider the Tower of Babel account to be a quaint Genesis “myth.” True, linguists now think there once WAS a universal human language, but they assume that it evolved chaotically, and that it also de-evolved naturally and chaotically over millennia.
Now comes an epical book that documents the language of the earliest modern humans. Let’s call them Adam and Eve, and let’s call that global Mother Tongue “Edenic.” Surely our current 6,000 languages grew from migrations and such, but this book proves that there was a “Big Bang” that diversified that special original, global language.
The Origin of Speeches begins by recapping the history of our views about the source of language. It then debunks the errors that infuse your dictionary, like those about how words in “unrelated” languages could only have identical sound and sense by “coincidence.” It does so with both quality and quantity of data. The next chapters give anyone the skills to sleuth out the Edenic origin of any human word. One learns about letters that shift in sound and location, and letters that drop in and drop out. We discover how Edenics works much like other natural sciences, such as chemistry and physics. Like-sounding opposite words were certainly programmed, not pragmatically evolved.
According to the Kosher-certification agency Star-K, "Integrated Marketing Communications reports that approximately 2.5 million Jews consume kosher food products." So what about the other 297.5 million people in the United States? Why are we then forced to pay for their Jewish religious dietary habits; why are we forced to pay for the Rabbinical Kosher Excise Tax?
Of course, if the Jewish agency that charges the Rabbinical Kosher Excise Tax would care to make available how much it charged this company in real dollars for the previous year, that would be a start to being honest. But, if you carefully examine the Web, you will not find one company that has reported this fee paid to the rabbis. Why is this? From a logical standpoint, it stands to reason that the rabbis must have some type of confidentiality agreement in which if the company reveals its cost it is then penalized to a certain extent. What other reasoning could there be that not one single company discloses its costs associated with the Rabbinical Kosher Excise Tax?
The ADL then goes on to cite a company that reportedly had its business increase as a result of Kosher certification. Is this true? Possibly. One must keep in mind, however, what Dr. Prytulak refers to as the "Pyramid Scheme" at his website. In effect, this is how it works: A large company is courted by Jews, who fill the company's heads with promises of a greater market appeal -- but only, of course, if they pay this initially "small fee" (in comparison with the company's total business) for certification. The company agrees. However, now the company must buy all its supplies from other "Kosher companies." Aside from the obvious need to purchase food products from Kosher suppliers, a company might even have to purchase the steel for its manufacturing process and the cleaning supplies from Kosher companies, to name just a couple other items now considered Kosher. In any event, if the suppliers do not give the main company a Kosher product, the company cannot do business with them. (After all, products prepared by lowly Gentile companies do not meet the Jewish religious dietary standards as set forth by rabbis -- without due compensation, anyway.) In effect, if your company happens to be one of the suppliers to another company, you risk much business by failing to abide by the Jewish ‘standards’ (and, of course, paying them the accompanying fees).
Is the extra business really there for companies that decide to go Kosher? Not according to some businesses. The Albuquerque Tribune reported one bagel company as wanting to be certified Kosher, but "the expense was more than the ... bagel company could muster." The owner stated, "We occasionally get asked for it but not that often." Another company decided to drop its "Star-K certification after one year." The owner of that company reported, "Kosher wasn't opening up any markets for me. I thought it was too much for my little operation."
"Many Kosher producers believe that Muslims accept Kosher as being Halal. In fact, Muslims do not accept Kosher certification as being a substitute for Halal certification. Some Muslims may have believed that Kosher slaughter was similar to Halal, but they are learning that this is not true and are demanding Halal certified products. Internationally, only proper Halal certification is acceptable and monitoring agencies are being established to ensure compliance."
There is one major difference (that even I know of) between the Halal method of slaughter and that of the Kosher method. The Halal method is actually done in a more humane manner, as it allows the animal to be stunned first. However, this is not the case with Kosher slaughter, which requires the animal to experience the full amount of pain and be fully conscious.
This figure of costs associated with the Rabbinical Kosher Excise Tax is largely unknown due to Jews not disclosing how much they charge to the various companies that receive Kosher certification. In perhaps what can only be viewed as a mistake by the rabbis who oversee the Rabbinical Kosher Excise Tax, in 1987 they disclosed that they expected Kosher steel to bring them $700,000.00 in fees per year.(8)
How much is the total cost today? While the figure is unknown, there are other things we can tell. For instance, according to both Star-K Kosher certification and EBizAsiaLink, $165 billion worth of food received Kosher certification in 2002.(9) But does this $165 billion figure also include non-food products such as steel and aluminum foil, which are not actually Kosher "food" items despite the fees that are paid and certification received?(10) Probably not, so the figure may be much greater. Another figure that we can look at to determine cost is taken from an article appearing in the Detroit News. It stated that one Kosher certification company brought in an estimated $20 million.(11) (It is not known whether this figure of $20 million is actual net profits, or gross business.) You begin to understand how much money we are talking about when you realize, as stated at the beginning of this article, that there are 275 such Kosher-certification organizations in the United States, and a total of 400 worldwide.(12)
It must be recognized that in addition to the fees paid to rabbis for the Rabbinical Kosher Excise Tax, there are other fees that a company might incur simply in an effort to ensure that its product is indeed Kosher. For example, they could not process pork or non-Kosher beef on the same equipment as Kosher beef, lest it be "contaminated." Equipment might then have to be added or changed. Suppliers might need to be changed. Special training would need to be administered. Perhaps, even a full-time rabbi might need to be hired to oversee the production.
The total costs associated with the Rabbinical Kosher Excise Tax are much higher than the ADL would have you believe.
Multimillion-Dollar Kosher Certification Charges: Hoax or Truth?
Handsets have been on the market in Japan for several weeks that are equipped with the service, which can also broadcast programs onto laptop computers, high-end videogame machines and other terminals.
The service will be free for now and programming will be the same as on home televisions as mobile operators examine whether One Seg will prove to be popular.
"In the short-term, digital terrestrial broadcasting on mobiles with the same programming as normal televisions will be of little interest for us," Masao Nakamura, CEO of Japan's top mobile operator NTT DoCoMo, said recently.
"But we are getting ready by preparing new specific content for the service that could come into use later when new channels are available," he said.

The movies can be permanently stored on the hard drive of a computer to create a permanent archive or burned to a disc in Windows Media format for backup or playback on up to two additional tethered computers.
The movies can also be downloaded to a notebook computer for traveling and users can stream their copy of the movie to a television set connected to a media center extender or an Xbox.
"I don't know that the studios will see major income from this at first, as it takes about 90 minutes to download and it's unclear whether people currently have the ability to do that, but it's a good beginning," Cooper said.
"Video-on-demand and downloadable films is a very big part of our future and even if it doesn't immediately yield big revenue, it's here to stay," he added.

"The industry is in the middle of a truly massive change," Miller emphasized, pointing out that video consumption is exploding around the world.
"We will see video-on-demand" (VOD) becoming dominant in the next few years," he said, adding that on-demand programming is clearly what viewers want.
The revolution starting to sweep the audiovisual entertainment industry is pushing users firmly into the driving seat, Miller believes.
The amount of different forms of media being consumed will all increase. "Prime [TV] time will morph into My Time" and everything will go portable, were Miller's predictions.

Some of the most valuable contributions may be not the financial ones at all. For example, we have this Institute for Religious Reconciliation based in Chicago run by an American of Indian descent named Ebbo Patel. He made an agreement with Queen Rania that they would go to Jordan and work with them trying to bridge the religious divides in the Middle East. In the Midwest we have a huge Arab Muslim population in Chicago and in Detroit and a huge Jewish population in both towns. Increasingly we have more Indians who are predominantly, but not exclusively Hindus.

Many who went on the media attack did more than imply. On April 3, for instance, the same day that The Philadelphia Inquirer reprinted Boot’s piece from the L.A. Times, a notably similar Op-Ed appeared in The Boston Herald under the headline “Anti-Semitic Paranoia at Harvard.”
And so it goes in the national media echo chamber. When a Johns Hopkins University professor weighed in Wednesday on the Op-Ed page of The Washington Post, the headline was blunt: “Yes, It’s Anti-Semitic.” The piece flatly called the Mearsheimer-Walt essay “kooky academic work”—and “anti-Semitic.”
But nothing in the essay is anti-Semitic.

Talks between representatives of the two parties went on for two-and-a-half hours on Sunday and were set to resume on Tuesday.
Other parties were due to hold talks with Kadima later on Sunday and on Monday.
But Israel's Haaretz newspaper reports that Kadima has agreed not to sign any coalition agreement before signing one with Labour.
Correspondents say the coalition talks will also include lengthy negotiations about the allocation of key ministerial posts.
Mr Olmert has served as acting prime minister since Ariel Sharon suffered a stroke 4 January and was declared temporarily incapacitated.
Mr Sharon is expected to be declared permanently incapacitated on Tuesday, a move that will officially signal the end of his premiership.

It would be also an appropriate opportunity to defend the legal rights of the Palestinian people and help them resist oppression.
The conference, dubbed `Qods and Support for the Rights of the Palestinian People', is to be held in Tehran from April 14-16 upon the initiative of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.
Parliament speakers of Islamic states will participate in the conference.
Hassan added the conference would provide a great opportunity for Arab and Islamic nations and intellectual and cultural elites in particular to support the Palestinians in their confrontation with the 'Zionist' regime's crimes.
He said a large number of parliament speakers and deputies of Arab and Islamic states as well as cultural and political figures would participate in the Tehran conference which shows a strong will to support the Palestinian issue.
The conference is expected to discuss latest developments in Palestine, plots to destroy its nation and ignore its just rights, crimes of occupiers in Palestine to put its nation under pressure and avenues to guarantee support for the Palestinian nation's resistance.

In judging Americans, Arabs and Israelis are forced to weigh the challenge using the “lesser of two evils” formula.
Most Israelis know that Evangelical support for Israel is actually based on the belief that Jews will also perish in the bonfires of hell as fast as all other non-Christians who do not embrace Jesus.
But Americans are very articulate at the profession of the “spin.” The “spin” was born in the American melting pot. The vast majority of Americans are Christian, and while they worship in churches of various and often warring and competing Christian denominations, their biggest temple is the Church of the Latter Day Communications (television).

Most Jews shun Christian Scripture. As a result, they can't answer Christians who ask why Jews don't accept Jesus as the Messiah. Now, Reform Rabbi Michael J. Cook says this "self-imposed ignorance" is dangerous.
In a book he plans to publish next year, "Modern Jews Engage the New Testament," he will present an education plan for how Jews can learn enough to answer "why they process it differently from Christians."
Many scholars agree that Jews would benefit from studying the Christian texts.
They say it could improve interfaith relations, especially on the local level where rabbis are expected to work with fellow clergy from other denominations.

This allows for the diversity and cultural plurality of mankind while uniting in faith in the Creator and with the Seven Noahide Laws providing a common moral foundation to human existence.
Moses who recieved the Torah from G-d spread the message of these Seven Noahide Laws and commanded us to influence all the nations of the world to accept them. One who keeps these laws because G-d commanded Moses on Mt. Sinai merits divine reward from G-d for keeping them.
The purpose of these commandments is to make the world should be settled and not barren, G-d forbid. These laws assure the continued existence of the world and all its inhabitants. One who abandons these basic values forfeits in this way his right to exist because his actions bring about the opposite of settling the world.
Noahide.org - the Importance of Noahide laws, a Moment.
People talk about a unified, monolithic "Noahide movement" when they can't even agree on a spelling of Noahide. People talk about following "Noahide (or No'achide) leaders" as if being a Torah scholar was like being a New Age guru or the pope of a new religion. People talk about the 7M like it's a strict set of detailed rules when it's really a set of values and a framework for righteousness and justice. It's not a narrow rut but a lovely broad straight highway.
One of the odd things about the 7M system is that it, unlike the Law that makes up the Ten Commandments system, isn't spelled out in detail in the Torah. So even a real scholar can know a great deal of Torah but still completely misunderstand the basic nature of the 7M. Ray and I, and all the principals of the First Covenant Foundation (FCF), have seen a lot of this. There simply isn't all that much in the Torah that speaks directly to the matter of the 7M. Even in Maimonides' Mishneh Torah, the single greatest source-book we have for the 7M, it comes up almost entirely in the context of End Times matters. (Which makes a lot of sense, when you think about it: only near the end of human history as we've known it, close to the beginning of the great new era promised in the Torah, will mankind sincerely or respectfully wish to "meet with Israel.")
When the peoples of the world finally return to the Torah, God will bring them together in a state of peace and love, as the prophet says, "...he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers." (Malakhi 3:24) And, "I will make the people pure of speech that they all call upon the name of God and serve Him with one purpose." (Zephaniah 3:9)
Working together in unity, we will then lead the world into a state of perfection, in which "...there will be neither famine nor war, envy or competition, for good will flow in abundance and all delights will be [as common] as dust. [In this era,] the occupation of the entire world will be solely to know God..... As [Isaiah 11:9] states: 'The world will be filled with the knowledge of God, as the waters cover the sea.'" (Rambam, Mishneh Torah, Hilkhoth Melakhim 12:5)

Finally, I forgot to mention at the start that covert political action campaigns are almost always directed by one nation against another nation that it considers an enemy or whose leaders it judges to be gullible, venal, none too bright, unreliable, or all four. That surely gives one pause for thought, but it truly is the way the world works.

Google and EarthLink intend to let people use the network for free. Operating costs will be defrayed by advertising that'll be a fixture on consumers' Web browsers.
Because the network is based upon Wi-Fi, a popular wireless technology, Google can figure out the location of someone that's logged on. It can then serve up ads for businesses within a few feet of the consumer. That's about as targeted as advertising can get.

It's time to tell the Jewish People the truth, the Arabs in Israel, the so-called "Palestinians," are Amalek trying to replace us in our homeland. This is total war; there will be only one winner, the Jewish People.
The legal system of Israel should be brought in line with the values of the Torah. A Sanhedrin, a working Jewish Supreme Court according to Torah Law, is beginning to come into existence through the efforts of many rabbis and lay leaders.
A society based on Torah Law will both free up the economy in key ways and establish healthy limits to economic activity, stressing other values beyond consumer consumption. It will encourage Chesed (acts of kindness) and Tzedek (righteousness and justice) through the social sector, so as not to build prosperity on the backs of the poor and the weak. A just and prosperous society is our goal. The final stage of ingathering the exiles will be accomplished, bringing historical justice to the Jewish People.
Certainly, we need to clean off the Temple Mount those insults to our religion, the so-called dome and mosque.
